Interaction Designer - Remote/UK - £400 Per Day Outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a government digital delivery team. You will design simple, accessible, user-centred interactions that help citizens complete tasks efficiently and confidently. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will shape end-to-end user journeys, create intuitive interfaces, and ensure services meet the GDS Service Standard and accessibility requirements.

Essential Skills:

Strong experience designing digital interactions for user-centred services.
Proven ability to work with the GOV.UK Design System and deliver services aligned to the GDS Service Standard.
Skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows using modern design tools.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
