Supply Care Solutions are looking for a Nursery Room Leader in Surrey SALARY: £29,536 per annum TYPE: PERMANENT HOURS: Full time (40 hours per week) QUALIFICATION: Level 3 or higher Job Purpose: As a Nursery Room Leader, you will lead and inspire a team within a specific age group room, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and early years education. You'll act as a role model, guide and mentor practitioners, and ensure the room operates smoothly and meets all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the day-to-day running of a nursery room, ensuring high standards of care and education * Support, mentor, and supervise team members, including overseeing planning and observations * Develop strong partnerships with parents, providing regular updates on children’s progress * Implement and review the EYFS curriculum and ensure activities support learning goals * Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and all statutory requirements are met * Contribute to staff development and appraisals * Maintain records, policies, and procedures to support compliance and quality assurance Nursery Room Leader Requirements - Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure - Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions - Commitment to the safe care and well-being of children If you are interested in this position please apply online or call us directly.
