Modular Estimator (Temp to Permanent) Location: HU9 Area, Hull Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30 - 17.00 Our valued client is looking to recruit a Modular Estimator to join their team on a temp-to-permanent basis in the HU9 area of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction, manufacturing or building industry knowledge, alongside some estimating experience or exposure, who is looking to build a long-term career in estimating. Working closely with an experienced Estimator, the successful candidate will receive ongoing training and mentorship, with the aim of developing into a fully-fledged Estimator over the coming years. The Role Assisting with the preparation of project estimates and costings Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Supporting material take-offs and supplier quotations Liaising with suppliers and internal departments Assisting in producing accurate pricing for projects Learning the full estimating process with long-term progression opportunitiesThe Ideal Candidate Some experience or exposure within estimating, construction, manufacturing or a building-related environment Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications would be advantageous Strong numerical and organisational skills Good IT skills, including Excel Eager to learn and develop within a long-term role High attention to detail and a proactive attitudeWhat's on Offer £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Temp-to-permanent opportunity with long-term prospects Full training and mentoring from an experienced Estimator Opportunity to develop into a senior position over timeThis role would suit someone who has some industry knowledge and estimating exposure but is looking for the opportunity to develop their skills further within a supportive and established business environment.
