Procurement Manager

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for a Procurement Manager. The role: You will be charged with leading the Procurement and Supply Planning function, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective supply of materials and production to ensure you can meet business and customer demand. Key responsibilities: Lead the Procurement and Planning teams Manage the full S&OP process Develop and execute Procurement strategies across all categories of spend Build an effective supplier relationship strategy and ensure this is rolled out Lead sourcing and tendering activities Develop your team through effective coaching and mentoring Skills and Experience: Experience in Procurement and Planning Management of a Procurement team within a manufacturing environment Strong negotiation experience Experience working with an MRP/ERP system Excellent stakeholder skills 52218DH INDPRO The Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position
