Procurement Manager

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our Kent based client to recruit for a Procurement Manager.

The role:

You will be tasked with the strategic procurement of goods and services and ensuring all internal stakeholders are successfully advised and guided.

Key Responsibilities:

To implement policies and procedures
Plan and procure services, goods, and equipment
Management of all supplier contracts
Train and manage other members of the procurement team
Work closely with internal stakeholders and resolve any queries
Ensure that all required stock is on site when needed
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers

Skills and Experience required:

At least 3 years' experience in a Procurement department
Previous management/leadership experience
Must have worked in a highly regulated procurement department
Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
CIPS or Degree level qualification
