Process Operative (nights)

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Process Operator on behalf of our client, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery used in the processing and manufacture of glass products, while maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety, productivity and housekeeping. Roles & Responsibilities Operate machinery to process and manufacture glass products Follow all quality systems and processes relevant to glass processing Observe all Health & Safety systems and procedures Carry out periodic housekeeping and machine maintenance in line with company schedules, quality systems and procedures Achieve required output and productivity levels in line with production targets Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives Assist with the training and development of colleagues Handle glass safely, including the safe use of stillages and barrows Produce glass products in accordance with company quality procedures and standards Experience, education & qualifications Previous experience within a manufacturing environment Reliable and trustworthy with an exceptional work ethic Physically fit and comfortable with manual work, occasional heavy lifting and extended periods of standing Professional, confident and mature attitude with excellent attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Flexible approach to working hours to support customer and business requirements Ability to work well as part of a team and perform effectively under pressure Proactive approach to working practices and continuous improvement Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance & ITAD.
