Customer Service Representative

A client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Temporary Customer Service Representative to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time temporary position working Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am - 12.30pm, paying a negotiable salary depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. Your key duties in this Customer Service Representative role will include but are not limited to: Processing customer enquiries, quotations and orders accurately Entering and managing customer orders using an ERP system Liaising with Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Shipping teams to meet customer requirements Providing customers with updates on order status, delivery schedules and tracking information Preparing and issuing customer documentation as required Delivering excellent customer service via email and telephone Maintaining accurate records with a high level of attention to detail Supporting quotation follow-ups and assisting with customer returns where requiredSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role: Previous customer service, order processing or administration experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or supply chain environment Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone manner Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using ERP/MRP systems Ability to manage multiple enquiries and inboxes while working effectively in a fast-paced team environment Experience working with internal departments to coordinate orders and customer requirements would be advantageousIf you feel like you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this Customer Service Representative position, please apply with your CV and Laura will be in touch. #accountsjobs
