Electrical Shift Leader

Job Title: Electrical Shift Leader Location: Liverpool Street, London Salary: £55,000 per annum Working Hours: Continental Shift Pattern – Days & Nights (7:00am–7:00pm / 7:00pm–7:00am) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Leader to join a leading building services provider, working within a large multi-tenanted corporate office building in the heart of the City. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer or existing Shift Leader looking to take ownership of a high-profile commercial site, leading from the front within a well-established on-site engineering team. The Role: • Leading the shift engineering team on a prestigious corporate office building. • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and associated building services systems. • Acting as the lead engineer on shift, supporting operational delivery and technical decision-making. • Managing building shutdowns, planned maintenance and quoted works outside of normal hours where required. • Ensuring compliance, permit control and high service delivery standards across site. • Supporting and mentoring other engineers within the team. The Site: • Large corporate office building • 16 floors, multi-tenanted • High-end commercial environment • Established on-site shift engineering team Shift Pattern: • Continental days and nights (7–7) • Rotating pattern including days, nights and rest periods Package: • £55,000 basic salary • 20 shift days annual leave • Season ticket loan (after qualifying period) • Pension scheme • Private healthcare including dental, optical and audio (post-probation) • Life insurance (2x salary) • Additional employee benefits and reward schemes • Strong training and long-term progression opportunities Requirements: • Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent). • Previous experience as a Shift Leader or Senior Shift Engineer. • Strong knowledge of commercial building services systems. • Experience within large corporate/commercial environments preferred. • Strong leadership, communication and fault-finding skills.
