Civil Site Engineer

Reference: 97653Civil Site EngineerLocation: GlasgowHours: 40 Hours - Monday to Friday At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day.We're looking for a Civil Site Engineer to support the delivery of civil engineering projects on site, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and in line with programme and specification.Role ResponsibilitiesSet out and manage day‑to‑day site engineering activities, ensuring accuracy and quality of worksSupport the planning and delivery of civil construction works in line with drawings, specifications and RAMSLiaise with site supervisors, subcontractors and project teams to coordinate activities and resolve technical issuesEnsure compliance with health & safety standards, carrying out inspections and maintaining site recordsAssist with progress reporting, quality checks and as‑built documentationRequired QualificationsDegree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)CSCS card (Engineering or above)Experience using CADWhat we're looking forPrevious experience working as a Site Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure projectsStrong setting‑out skills and ability to interpret drawings and technical specificationsKnowledge of health & safety legislation within a construction environmentGood communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across site teamsA proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detailWhat's in it for you?Ongoing training and development opportunities within MitieOpportunity to work within a large contract with leading sub-contractors and civil engineering teamsThere's a place for you at Mitie – join us todayRef:97653 Location:Glasgow Employment:Full time
