HR Assistant (3 days pw)

HR Assistant (3 days part-time) | 12 Month FTC | London (Hybrid) | £21,600 (based on FTE salary of £36,000)
 
My client, a well-established organisation, is seeking an HR Assistant to support the People team across a broad range of HR activities.
 
This is a varied and hands-on role, responsible for providing HR administration support, assisting with recruitment activities, maintaining employee records, and ensuring a high-quality HR service is delivered across the business.
 
Responsibilities:

Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees
Support the review and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
Assist with payroll administration, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date
Coordinate recruitment activity, including arranging interviews and liaising with candidates
Prepare contracts, offer letters, and other employment documentation
Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Produce regular HR reports and management information
Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal processes 
Skills & Experience:

Previous experience within an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or similar HR support role
CIPD Level 3 qualified or currently working towards qualification
Experience handling employee queries and providing general HR administration support
Knowledge of payroll administration processes
Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience preparing contracts, letters, and HR documentation
Good analytical skills with experience producing HR data and reports 
Package:

£21,600 (based on FTE salary of £36,000)
3 days per week – 2 days on site
12 month fixed-term contract
