It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!EHS SpecialistJob Purpose:To support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs at the site, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations.Shift pattern – 8 hours a day, 5 days a week flexible hoursKey Responsibilities:Incident investigation and analysisConduct accident investigations on reported incidents, near misses and observationsConduct analysis and assign corrective and preventative actionsCarry out trend analysis to prevent future incidentsCompliance and Documentation:Maintain COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and risk assessments.Update and manage procedure documents to align with regulatory standards and site requirements.Conduct safety sign offs for new equipmentCarry out risk assessments and train non EHS staff on risk assessmentContinuous Improvement:Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for EHS program enhancement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety and sustainability initiatives.Expansion supportProvide input to the planning of the expansion of operations across the site while maintaining operations and site safety standardsSupport innervation of improved safety solutions for manufacturing operations.Qualifications and Skills:Nebosh qualification preferred but not requiredStrong experience in EHS operations within semi-conductors, chemical plant or similar industrial environment.Knowledge of COSHH, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to emergencies.Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilitiesWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
