Plymouth, Devon | £12.71 per hour | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm (1 hour unpaid break) | Permanent, Full-time | Food production and packaging role with long-term career progression and development opportunities.

Key Duties:
As a Factory Operative, you will work across all areas of food production and packaging operations, helping to produce premium food products to the highest standards of quality, food safety and customer satisfaction.
This is a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where attention to detail and maintaining high standards are essential.
The Factory Operative role is physically demanding. Candidates must be comfortable working:
In a very cold food production environment, with some areas extremely hot.
On their feet for extended periods.
Carrying out regular manual handling tasks, lifting up to 15 kg at a time.
At pace to meet production targets.
Maintaining exceptionally high quality and food safety standards at all times.This is a hands-on Production Operative role suited to individuals who enjoy active work and are prepared to work hard as part of a close-knit team.
Requirements:
Essential
Previous food factory, production, manufacturing or warehouse experience.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Good attendance and timekeeping.
Ability to work quickly whilst maintaining high standards.
Good attention to detail.
Flexible approach to work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical fitness and manual handling capability, as you will be lifting up to 15 kg.
Good English and numeracy skills.Desirable
Previous food manufacturing or food factory experience would be a significant advantage.
Experience working in chilled/freezer environments.
Experience working to food safety and hygiene standards.
