Debt Recovery Officer

Role: Debt Recovery Officer Type: Interim 3 Month Contract Hourly Rate: £20 to £27 per hour Umbrella Hybrid: Ideally 1 day a week in the office Location: Leicestershire The responsibilities of the Debt Recovery Officer will be: Managing outstanding debt cases and supporting the end-to-end recovery process Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve account queries and secure payments Maintaining accurate records and updating case information on internal systems Supporting the team with backlog management and debt recovery activities following recent system challenges Ensuring recovery procedures are carried out in line with relevant policies and regulations Using Technology One to monitor accounts, track recovery activity and manage debtor information The ideal candidate for the Debt Recovery Officer role will have: Previous experience within debt recovery, income collection or credit control environments Working knowledge of Technology One systems Confidence managing debt recovery procedures and handling difficult conversations professionally Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload independently Previous experience within Local Government would be beneficial, although this is not essential Excellent communication skills and attention to detail How to apply for the Interim Debt Recovery Officer role: If you believe that you are well suited to this excellent opportunity of Debt Recovery Officer, please apply directly or contact Tim Farnsworth at Sellick Partnership Derby Office for more information.
