Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to join a high-quality, fast-paced hospitality operation in Staffordshire. This is a permanent opportunity offering leadership responsibility within a premium food environment focused on fresh, seasonal cuisine and exceptional guest experience.

Working Hours & Pattern

45-48 hours per week
5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends
Flexibility required to meet business demands, including peak service periods

The Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, delivering consistently high standards across multiple service periods. You will play a key role in driving food quality, innovation, and team performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Full operational responsibility for the kitchen and food service
Leading and developing a structured kitchen brigade
Planning and delivering high-quality seasonal menus using fresh ingredients
Managing GP, food costs, labour controls, and kitchen budgets
Overseeing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard
Maintaining strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Supporting service across multiple offerings (e.g. restaurant, events, functions where required)
Driving continuous improvement in food offering and kitchen efficiency

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior kitchen role (Head Chef or strong Sous Chef level)
Experience working in high-volume, quality-led hospitality environments
A strong background in fresh food and menu development
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a team
Solid understanding of kitchen financials including GP and cost control
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering high xwzovoh standards
Food Safety Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent)
