You'll work across two exciting Marriott brands: As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the maintenance team in delivering a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for our guests and colleagues. You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, assisting with repairs, and helping ensure the hotel operates to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and presentation. Carry out routine and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. Respond promptly to maintenance issues and guest requests. Assist with fault finding, repairs, and general building upkeep. Support the maintenance team in maintaining excellent standards across both hotels. Help maintain compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations. Electrical systems Fire detection and emergency lighting systems Kitchen and catering equipment Painting, decorating and finishing works General building repairs and maintenance Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, engineering, or building services role. Experience within hospitality, hotels, leisure, retail, or commercial property environments would be advantageous. A flexible and positive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
