- Friday Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour The Client: NI Water was set up in 2007 to provide water and wastewater services in Northern Ireland.

The Role: Support the overall Procurement function to achieve their objectives.
Manage the tendering of contracts above and below the Utilities Contract Regulations threshold, with support of line managers, to deliver value for money.
Conducting procurements in a manner that minimises risk of legal challenge to NI Water (compliance with Utilities Contract Regulations) Stakeholder management to develop tender documents, supervise evaluation panels and consensus meetings, analysing.
Conduct price evaluation of tender submissions Preparation of contract award documentation including supplier debriefs.
Supporting contracts post-award.
Supporting negotiations.
Requirements: ESSENTIAL CRITERIA A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or higher.
A minimum of 3 A levels or equivalent at grade C or higher with at least 2years' experience working in an office or customer facing environment OR A third level qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent) with at least 1 years' experience working in an office or customer facing environment.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
MS Excel experience should include the ability to analyse and manipulate data for presentation in a professional manner.
Have full CIPS membership (MCIPS) or willing to study to obtain CIPS professional qualification with full support of NI Water.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA In the event of a large number of applications, in the first instance, candidates may be short-listed on the following desirable criteria: 1 years' experience in any aspect of procurement/supply chain management.
In the second instance, candidates may be short-listed on the following, additional desirable criteria: Experience of using an electronic tendering system.
Line management experience.
