Wolviston Management Services is proud to be supporting our fantastic client in the recruitment of a Production Lead to join their growing manufacturing operation on a permanent basis.
The Role
As Production Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of production activities, ensuring operations are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer requirements, quality standards and business objectives.
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will lead and develop your team while maintaining high levels of productivity, compliance and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support production teams across mixing and packaging departments
Ensure production schedules, targets and customer requirements are achieved
Promote and maintain a strong health, safety and environmental culture
Ensure compliance with GMP, quality and hygiene standards
Coach, develop and monitor team performance to maximise capability and engagement
Ensure all employees are appropriately trained, assessed and working safely and competently
Monitor product quality and ensure manufacturing specifications are consistently met
Coordinate resources and workflow across the shift to optimise operational efficiency
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout production areas
Accurately record production data using operational systems and IT applications
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance performance and productivity About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring previous supervisory or team leadership experience gained within a manufacturing, production, process or warehouse environment.
You will be a confident communicator with a hands-on leadership style and the ability to motivate teams while delivering results in a demanding operational setting.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, process or warehouse environment
Experience leading, supervising or coordinating teams
Strong people management and communication skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Self-motivated, proactive and organised approach
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Flexible and adaptable to changing production priorities
Good mechanical awareness and confidence working within a hands-on manufacturing environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills What's On Offer?
