Site/Measurement Engineer

Contract Measurement Engineer – Lanarkshire, West Central Scotland Boyd Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for a Contract Measurement Engineer on behalf of our client, a reputable organisation within the civil engineering sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team based in South Lanarkshire. Key Responsibilities: Conduct accurate measurement and setting out for civil engineering projects on-site. Assist in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Monitor and report on progress, ensuring all work aligns with contractual commitments. Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to facilitate smooth operations. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards throughout all measurement activities. Candidate Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer within civil engineering contracting. Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, specifications, and measurement techniques. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
