Product Manager - IBM Messaging

IBM Product Manager * Inside IR35 * Sheffield or Birmingham – 3 days per week onsite. If based in Birmingham, at least 1 of the 3 days must be in Sheffield. We’re partnering with a leading financial services client to appoint an IBM Product Manager within their Enterprise Platform Integration function. This is a key role within a large-scale transformation programme, with responsibility for the strategy, roadmap and governance of a portfolio of IBM products, including IBM MQ, ACE and Tivoli, alongside supporting the transition from Tivoli to Instana. Key Responsibilities: * Own and develop the product strategy and roadmap for IBM platforms * Manage product governance, lifecycle and ongoing service improvement * Lead vendor management and commercial relationships * Oversee licensing, costs and contractual requirements * Work closely with engineering, architecture and technology teams * Support the migration from Tivoli to Instana * Coordinate with large, globally distributed teams across multiple regions * Represent the product portfolio at senior stakeholder and governance forums Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Product Manager within an enterprise technology environment * Strong knowledge of IBM technologies, particularly MQ, ACE and Tivoli * Experience managing technology roadmaps, governance and product strategy * Strong vendor and licence management experience * Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills * Comfortable working with global, multi-disciplinary teams More details available on succesful application
