Senior Interim SEND Officer – We're Hiring! 🚨 📍 Location: Remote  📅 Contract: Interim 💷 Competitive Daily Rate (DOE) We Do Social Work is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Interim SEND Officer to join a forward-thinking Local Authority on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled SEND professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Manage a complex caseload of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Ensure statutory deadlines and SEND legislation are met. Chair and contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings. Work collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies. Provide expert advice on SEND processes, legislation and best practice. Support service improvements and mentor junior team members where required. Essential Requirements: ✔ Significant experience working within a Local Authority SEND Service. ✔ In-depth knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice. ✔ Proven experience managing complex EHCP cases. ✔ Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills. ✔ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
