We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Customs Operations Manager to lead a dynamic customs operation at a leading global logistics provider. This role is based in Felixstowe with occasional travel to UK based offices. It offers a chance to significantly influence business performance and drive operational excellence in customs processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and develop a team responsible for the accurate completion of import and export declarations, and transit movements.
• Ensure compliance with all HMRC regulations, customs authorisations, and statutory requirements.
• Drive quality assurance standards and maintain robust operational procedures.
• Monitor customs and government regulatory changes, providing guidance and updates to the wider team.
• Identify process improvements to increase productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support business growth initiatives and contribute innovative solutions to enhance service offerings.
