Key duties include: * Diagnosing equipment faults and restoring production machinery efficiently to minimise downtime * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs * Implementing engineering improvements identified through audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives * Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with site health & safety, environmental, and hygiene standards * Maintaining accurate maintenance records, including completed work and spare parts usage * Supporting effective spare parts management and stock control processes * Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maximise plant performance * Providing clear handovers between shifts to ensure continuity of work * Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with site procedures and safe systems of work * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within engineering work areas Engineer Requirements: We are interested in speaking with Maintenance Engineers from fast-paced manufacturing environments, including: * FMCG * Food Manufacturing * Packaging * Plastics * Chemical * Pharmaceutical To be successful, you should have: * A recognised engineering apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering * A minimum of 3 years' maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems * Experience working within high-volume, fast-moving production environments * The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
