Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Digital Engineering

Location: Reading (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 6 Months (Extension Potential)

Day Rate: £475

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, capture, document, and manage stakeholder needs and business requirements across the engineering lifecycle.
• Maintain requirements baselines, manage change requests, and support requirements governance activities.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from customer needs through implementation, validation, and verification.
• Participate in requirements reviews, validation activities, audits, and traceability assessments.
• Support the delivery of digital engineering tools and capabilities within complex Defence and Aerospace programmes.

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance is mandatory. DV Clearance is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst delivering digital tools and technology solutions.
• Experience managing requirements throughout the full engineering lifecycle, including traceability, governance, validation, and verification.
• Demonstrable Aerospace, Defence, MOD, Defence Digital, or UK Defence Prime experience.
• Practical experience in at least one of the following domains: Model & Simulation (Synthetics), Virtual & Physical Testing, Qualification & Certification (ITEA), or Training & Through Life Support (TLS).
• Experience delivering digital engineering, software, systems engineering, or technology programmes within regulated environments.
• Experience producing technical documentation, requirements specifications, and lifecycle artefacts.
• Knowledge of aircraft certification, qualification processes, and regulatory compliance would be advantageous. xwzovoh
• Experience working with MOD organisations, Defence Prime Contractors, system integrators, and aerospace suppliers is highly desirable.
