Monday-Friday 7.30am-5.00pm + every other Saturday 8.00am-12.00pm

THE ROLE

As an HGV Driver at the Seahouses branch, you'll be an important part of the team and one of the key faces of JT Dove to its customers.

You'll be responsible for:

Delivering timber and building materials safely and efficiently to customers.
Loading, securing and unloading materials, including operating the lorry-mounted crane.
Planning safe and suitable delivery routes.
Providing excellent customer service and building good customer relationships.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately and obtaining proof of delivery.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Ensuring all driving, loading and delivery activities are carried out safely and legally.

THE PERSON

We're looking for someone who is reliable, professional and takes pride in what they do.

You'll need:

A valid HGV licence appropriate for the role.
Previous HGV driving/delivery experience.
A strong commitment to safety.
Good communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own deliveries.
A professional and responsible attitude.

Experience operating a lorry-mounted crane/HIAB would be highly desirable.
