Digital Merchandising Assistant

Job description: We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Merchandising Assistant to join our clients growing marketing team. This is a hands-on role supporting the management of online product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are presented accurately, consistently and effectively to customers while helping maintain a high-performing online catalogue. Key Responsibilities Product Listings * Upload and maintain product listings across e-commerce platforms * Create accurate product descriptions, pricing and specifications, manage product categories, variants and collections Content & Imagery * Upload and optimise product images, assist with product photography and image editing * Ensure listings meet brand and platform standards Platform Management * Update product content, keywords and SEO elements * Monitor listing health and resolve issues, maintain accurate product and stock information Website Maintenance * Check for listing errors, broken links and incorrect information * Ensure consistency across all sales channels * Archive discontinued products when required Performance & Reporting * Monitor product performance and identify improvements * Review competitor listings and market trends * Support new product launches and promotional updates Data & Administration * Manage product data using spreadsheets and CSV files * Maintain organised digital asset libraries * Support bulk uploads and seasonal catalogue updates About You * Experience with Shopify, Amazon, eBay or similar platforms (or willingness to learn) * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Comfortable using spreadsheets and managing data * Basic image editing skills are desirable * Highly organised and able to work independently * Good understanding of online shopping and e-commerce * Positive, proactive and comfortable working within a small team What's on Offer * Full-time position * Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30 * Hybrid working available following successful probation Clements Young Ltd acts as an Employment Business when supplying temporary workers and as an Employment Agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment.
