Are you an experienced Laboratory Technician with a background in metals, foundry, steel, aluminium, copper, brass, or industrial manufacturing?

We are seeking a Laboratory Shift Technician to join a well-established manufacturing operation, supporting quality assurance, materials testing, and process control within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
? Mechanical and metallurgical testing including hardness, tensile, bend and grain size analysis
? Spectrographic chemical analysis and verification of material composition
? Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials and scrap
? Calibration and verification of laboratory equipment
? Monitoring and analysis of process solutions, acids and treatment tanks
? Preparation of Certificates of Conformity and quality documentation
? Macro and microstructural examination of metal products

What We're Looking For:
? Laboratory, quality control, or metallurgical testing experience within a manufacturing environment
? Knowledge of mechanical and chemical testing methods
? Experience working with metal products, alloys, castings, extrusions or engineered materials
? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
? xwzovoh Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Additional Responsibility:
The successful candidate will occasionally provide operational cover during nights and weekends, ensuring production, quality, safety and staffing requirements are maintained.
