We are recruiting Support Workers to join a friendly learning disabilities service providing support within a respite setting and community outreach across St Austell and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for caring, reliable people who enjoy building positive relationships and supporting individuals to live independently in their community. Experience is welcome, but full training is provided - attitude and values are the most important factors.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role - you must have the Right to Work in the UK to apply.

Package
  • £13.31 per hour (day rate)

Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 support to adults with learning disabilities
  • Supporting individuals within a respite service and in the community
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Supporting community access, activities and independence
  • Following person-centred care and support plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and communication
  • Working collaboratively within a small, dedicated team
  • Promoting dignity, choice and independence xwzovoh
Requirements
  • Caring, patient and dependable approach
  • Comfortable working within both respite and community settings
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be a driver with own transport
  • Experience within care helpful but not essential
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Right to work in the UK
