Date posted: 14 September 2026 Pay: £16.45 per hour Job Description: Warehouse Operative – FLT Reach & Counterbalance Location: Dunstable Shift: Monday to Friday, 22:00 – 06:00 Pay: £16.45 per hour, increasing to £17.45 per hour under AWR Contract: Ongoing Temporary, with the opportunity to become Permanent Start Date: Immediate We are currently recruiting for a warehouse operative to join night-shift team on an ongoing temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidates will have experience operating both FLT Reach Truck and FLT Counterbalance and will be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities; * Order picking and preparation * Pallet put-away and stock movement * Loading and unloading vehicles * Operating FLT Reach and Counterbalance trucks safely * Maintaining good standards of warehouse housekeeping and hygiene * Carrying out general warehouse duties and other tasks as required About You; * Valid and relevant FLT Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences/certificates * Previous warehouse experience preferred * Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bags weighing up to 25kg * Good understanding of health and safety procedures What They Offer; * £16.45 per hour starting rate * £17.45 per hour once AWR pay applies * Monday to Friday working pattern * Consistent night-shift hours: 22:00-06:00 * Ongoing temporary work with the opportunity to become permanent * Full training and site induction provided where required If you have the required FLT experience and are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position, we would love to hear from you.
