Principal Cloud Consultant

We're working with a specialist cloud consultancy undergoing significant growth and looking to appoint a Principal Cloud Engineering Consultant.

This is a senior role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to influence cloud strategy, lead complex engagements and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You'll play a key role in shaping client outcomes while remaining technically credible and closely connected to delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Leading large-scale cloud transformation and modernisation programmes
• Advising senior stakeholders on cloud strategy, architecture and operating models
• Providing technical leadership across complex cloud engagements
• Supporting solution design, delivery oversight and client success
• Driving best practice in platform engineering, automation and cloud operations
• Mentoring consultants and helping shape the organisation's technical capability

What we're looking for

• Deep expertise across AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Strong knowledge of platform engineering, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience operating as a trusted advisor to senior technical and business stakeholders
• Commercial awareness and a consulting mindset
• Ability to lead complex engagements and influence strategic decisions
