Project Coordinator – Part-Time Contract

Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.

Location: Cirencester / Hybrid

Contract: Part-time, 2–3 days per week

IR35: Outside IR35

Rate: £200 per day

Start date: As soon as possible

Are you an organised, proactive Project Coordinator who enjoys keeping projects on track?

Would a flexible part-time contract give you the right balance, while still allowing you to make a real impact?

An organisation is looking for a Project Coordinator to provide practical, day-to-day support across a number of ongoing projects.

This is a part-time contract role, working 2–3 days per week, outside IR35. The role is hybrid, based in Cirencester, with some office presence required.

This is not a senior Project Manager position. Instead, the focus is on someone who can take ownership of the coordination and administration that keeps projects moving, allowing the wider team to focus on delivery and decision-making.

What will the Project Coordinator be doing?

  • Coordinating project activity and ensuring agreed actions are followed through.
  • Maintaining project plans, trackers, action logs and key documentation.
  • Arranging project meetings, including agendas, notes and actions.
  • Following up with internal and external stakeholders on actions and dependencies.
  • Keeping project information, documentation and reporting up to date.
  • Tracking key milestones, deadlines, risks and outstanding decisions.
  • Providing concise updates on project progress and highlighting anything requiring escalation.
  • Supporting the preparation of status reports and project communications.
  • Coordinating diaries, meetings and project-related activity where required.
  • Helping to establish consistent processes and organisation across the projects being supported.
  • Picking up general project administration and coordination tasks as they arise.

What are they looking for?

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Project Coordinator, PMO Coordinator, Project Administrator or similar role and will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.

They will ideally be someone who:

  • Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Is comfortable managing multiple actions, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Is proactive rather than waiting to be given every individual task.
  • Is confident chasing people and ensuring commitments are followed through.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is comfortable working with project plans, trackers, spreadsheets and collaboration tools.
  • Can quickly understand what is important and flag issues before they become problems.
  • Is happy working in a flexible, part-time capacity as part of a wider project team.

The opportunity

This would suit a dependable Project Coordinator who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and follow-through to a busy project environment. xwzovoh

The priority is someone who can quickly become the organisational centre of the projects they support, keeping information current, people aligned and actions moving.
