Mobile Forklift Engineer - Hertfordshire

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a team servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of materials handling equipment, including forklifts, side loaders and reach trucks. Location: Hertfordshire and surrounding areas  Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair materials handling equipment, including forklifts, side loaders and reach trucks. Diagnose faults and identify potential repairs to maximise equipment reliability and uptime. Complete service records, job sheets, parts orders and warranty work accurately. Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers. Plan and book scheduled maintenance with customers. Prioritise and manage your workload effectively. Ensure chargeable work and scheduled servicing are completed within agreed timescales. Maintain regular communication with the service team regarding completed work, estimates, damage reports and outstanding jobs. Carry out lifting equipment inspections when required. Carry out PAT testing when required. Follow all site health and safety requirements and wear the appropriate PPE at all times. Carry out any other reasonable duties required as part of the role. Experience you will have:  Ideally, previous experience servicing, repairing or maintaining forklifts, plant machinery, MHE or similar equipment.
