We have an opportunity available within the Banff & Fraserburgh Cluster this covers GP practices in Macduff, Portsoy and Fraserburgh and Community Hospitals in Banff and Fraserburgh.
Full Time/Part Time Opportunities (min 3 days) Monday Friday
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist to join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Banff & Fraserburgh Cluster. The post holder will join a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and be key to the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service and promoting quality, cost‑effective prescribing of medicines.
The post holder will support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.
You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Experience of working within Primary Care, medicines management and audit would be an advantage.
Independent Prescriber training would be supported if not already achieved.
The post will include onsite working in GP Practices and / or remote working from an agreed base within the HSCP cluster area available options can be discussed with one of the Lead Pharmacists and we encourage this ahead of applying. A full driving licence essential.
Interviews will take place on Monday 31 August or by individual agreement.
