Corporate Tax Manager 📍 East Anglia (Flexible office location) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing specialist team focused on R&D tax relief and innovation incentives. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, deliver high-quality technical work, and play a key role in driving business growth. You’ll be working with a range of innovative businesses, helping them maximise tax benefits while ensuring compliance with UK legislation. Alongside this, you’ll lead and develop a team, contribute to strategic initiatives, and build strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of R&D and innovation-focused clients, acting as the main point of contact Lead the preparation and review of R&D tax relief and Patent Box claims Provide technical expertise and advisory support on complex tax matters Oversee project delivery, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met Manage financial aspects including WIP, billing, and fee recovery Develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains Contribute to business development, including proposals, tenders, and client growthAbout You Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience Strong background in corporate tax, ideally with exposure to R&D incentives Proven experience managing client relationships and portfolios Commercially aware with experience in billing and fee management Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident in decision-makingWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Flexible working and choice of office location across the region Opportunity to work with innovative, high-growth businesses A supportive environment with clear progression opportunities Exposure to complex, technically challenging workWhy Join?
