Salary: Main Pay Scale / UPS + TLR1 for HOF responsibilities
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and committed individual to shape the strategic direction of Performing Arts across the school and inspire students to achieve their full creative potential.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher with the ability to deliver high-quality lessons across one or more performing arts disciplines (e.g. Drama, Music, Dance and PE), and will have a proven track record of raising attainment and leading a team.

As Head of Faculty, you will play a key role in curriculum development, staff mentoring and enrichment opportunities, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity and inclusion.

You will provide strong leadership and a clear vision for the Performing Arts Faculty, ensuring a high-quality and engaging curriculum across all key stages. You will deliver consistently excellent teaching, modelling outstanding practice and inspiring both students and colleagues. A key part of the role will involve supporting and developing members of the faculty, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. You will take responsibility for driving student progress and attainment, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential. In addition, you will lead and promote a vibrant programme of performances, productions and extracurricular opportunities that enrich the wider life of the school.
