HGV TECHNICIAN - NIGHT SHIFT Location: Mansfield Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on Experience Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 48 per week Experienced HGV Technician - Permanent Night Shift Are you an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic looking for a permanent night-shift role with the potential to earn up to £55,000 per year, depending on experience? We're recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across HGVs and trailers. This is a small night-shift team, so you'll need to be confident working independently, using your own technical experience to diagnose faults and complete repairs with minimal supervision. The Role Your responsibilities will include: ·Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers. ·Routine inspections and preventative maintenance. ·Mechanical and electrical defect repairs. ·Fault finding and diagnostics. ·Using manufacturer diagnostic systems and specialist tooling. ·Completing job cards, service sheets and online records accurately. ·Working to manufacturer, industry and health & safety standards. ·Taking ownership of your workload throughout the night shift. About You We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic with: ·Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar HGV role. ·NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - essential. ·Strong HGV mechanical and diagnostic skills. ·Experience working on HGVs and trailers. ·Confidence working independently with minimal supervision. ·Reliable, professional approach and high standards of workmanship. ·HGV Licence - desirable.
