The business designs, installs and maintains compliant, safety‑critical systems that protect people and property in environments where regulation, reliability and quality are essential.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team.
The Role
As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you will carry out installation, maintenance, fault‑finding and repair of a variety of fire, security and electrical systems. You will work across residential and commercial sites, delivering high standards of workmanship, compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems
* Fault diagnosis and rectification across fire, security and emergency lighting systems
* Working on systems including:
* Fire Detection & Alarm (BS 5839)
* AOV systems, smoke ventilation & EVAC
* Emergency & communal lighting (BS 5266)
* CCTV, access control, video entry & intruder alarms
* Carrying out electrical works where required, including testing and minor installations
* Completing job reports, certification and compliance paperwork
* Working in occupied residential and public‑sector environments
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with current UK regulations and company standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Multi‑Skilled Engineer within fire, security and/or electrical disciplines
* Good knowledge of:
* Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
* Emergency lighting systems
* Basic electrical installations and fault‑finding
* Relevant industry qualifications (fire, electrical or security related)
* ECS / CSCS card (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Professional, reliable and safety‑focused approach
