About the role
Chef Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to lead a busy school kitchen, delivering fresh, nutritious meals to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality meals using fresh ingredients.
Lead and support the kitchen team.
Maintain Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health & Safety standards.
Provide catering for school events and hospitality requests.
Build positive relationships with staff and students.
About You
Must have a current DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
Previous catering experience, ideally in education or high-volume environments.
Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 qualified (or willing to train).
Strong knowledge of food safety and compliance.
Motivated, organised, and able to inspire a team.
Passionate about food and delivering excellent service.
What we can offer
£18 per hour
30 hours per week
39 weeks per year (term-time only)
Monday to Friday working pattern
No evenings or weekends
