Visual Designer – 6 Month FTC
Salary: £40,824 - £45,360
Location: Edinburgh
Hours: Full-time
Working Pattern: Hybrid (at least 2 days per week, 40% of time at office)

About the Role

You’ll be part of the Experience Design team, collaborating with designers, researchers and strategists to create human‑centred digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging digital experiences for web and mobile applications.
  • Apply creative thinking to simplify complex problems.
  • Design interfaces using a central digital design system.
  • Balance content and UI elements on screen.
  • Prototype designs and assemble presentations using Figma (required) and Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Acrobat.

Qualifications

  • Early career professional with approx. four years of experience.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates visual design skills.
  • Experience with a digital design system and component-based design.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to visual design.
  • Experience experimenting with AI tools for rapid prototyping (preferred).
