As the Senior Outpatient Nurse, you will act as deputy to the Outpatient Manager while leading a designated specialty area within the department, such as Dermatology, Gynaecology, Neurology or another developing service. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of clinics, mentoring colleagues, developing processes and helping to establish a high-performing outpatient service. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, embraces change and is motivated by the opportunity to help build something new. Support the day-to-day running of outpatient clinics, ensuring efficient patient flow and excellent patient experience. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across a range of outpatient services. Support consultants during clinics, examinations and procedures as required. Assist with training, induction and development of nursing colleagues. Provide leadership and guidance to Band 5 Nurses and specialist nursing colleagues. Act as a role model for professional practice and uphold NMC standards at all times. We are keen to hear from motivated nurses who are looking to take the next step in their career.
