Principal Subsea & Pipeline Engineer – Expression of Interest

Key Requirements

• Being technically responsible for all pipeline and riser engineering work and allocating, supervising and directing preparation of project deliverables. Subject to project size, will delegate some level of supervision and specific checking activities to appropriate competent personnel.
• Leading or contributing to concept development and feasibility studies for challenging marginal, HPHT, and deep‑water subsea developments in the Oil & Gas sector, and design and analysis of CO2 and H2 onshore and offshore pipelines in the Low Carbon sector.
• Leading or contributing to pipeline and riser integrity management, life extension, decommissioning studies, failure investigations, consultancy studies etc.
• Leading or contributing to subsea cable routing, mechanical design, analysis and assessment in the Offshore Wind and Oil & Gas sectors.
• Leading or contributing to analytical or non-linear FE methods to solve diverse and complex pipeline and subsea cable problems.
• Leading or contributing to assessment of thermoplastic, composite and flexible pipe.
• Preparing clear, concise reports against time, cost, and quality objectives.
