New: Corporate Tax Associate, 1–4 PQE, £70,000–£85,000, International Firm, Manchester

This is a Manchester role in the corporate tax team of an international firm, open from 1 to 4 PQE, on a flexible hybrid pattern.

The distinctive thing about the seat is its breadth: you'll advise on the tax side of M&A, private equity, joint ventures, real estate and investment deals, and you get to build around the sectors that actually interest you rather than taking whatever lands on the desk.

The work is cross-border, complex and high-value - genuine international transactional tax run out of Manchester, not domestic overflow from London.

The firm invests heavily in training and legal-tech tooling, so your development as a corporate tax lawyer is properly resourced rather than left to pick up on the job.

The international network and deal flow behind the team are what make genuinely cross-border tax work possible from a regional base.

The package includes a reviewed-annually salary, a generous bonus scheme, up to 25 days' holiday (rising to 28 with service) plus a holiday exchange, private medical insurance and enhanced parental leave.
