Given the nature of these clients, the role will centre around building strong relationshipswith both clients and other ForvisMazarsteam members (both in the UK and abroad) as well as providing pragmatic, holistic advice. You will work closely with the tax, privateclient and privately owned business teams and withclients and be committed to providing exceptional service.About the roleAs a PrivateClientTaxAdvisory Associate Director you will be responsible for:Manage a portfolio of clients as the main point of contact for PrivateClientTax in the Glasgow office, developyourportfolio to grow your base of profitable work.Develop a portfolio of businesses to target, using your business development skills to start new relationships and generate new work for PrivateClienttax and other teams.Reviewing tax reports prepared by junior members of the team.Ensuring WIP analysis and billing are kept up to date.Liaisingwith HMRC regarding various issues.Assisting the partner(s) withidentifying specific advisory issues to consider e.g. shareholder profit extraction/exit planning, shareholder and personal succession planning, individualrelocation etc.What we are looking forHolds relevant professionalqualification (e.g. CTA) or equivalentexperience.Extensive experience of personal tax services.Significantexperience of developing project plans and ensuring deadlines are met.Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, develop new initiatives and methodologies.Experience of identifyingopportunities for business development on taxclients and across other service lines.Proficiencywith personal tax on CCH Central would be an advantage.Ready to grow, belong, and impact?
