Shift Electrical Technician

We’re Hiring: Electrical Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) ⚡ 🚨 📍 City of London 💷 Up to £45,000 + £3,140 Shift Allowance + Benefits 🕒 Continental Shift Pattern | Permanent We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician ⚡ to join a leading UK Facilities Management company on a prestigious, high-profile site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a critical commercial environment, offering long-term stability, exposure to a flagship contract, and clear career progression. 🔧 What you’ll be doing: ✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems ⚡ ✔️ Fault finding and repairing electrical systems and associated controls ✔️ Supporting maintenance of HVAC systems, lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS systems, and plant equipment ✔️ Responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs ✔️ Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations and site compliance standards ✔️ Updating maintenance logs and completing all relevant documentation accurately ✔️ Liaising professionally with the client and working closely with the wider engineering team 👷 What we’re looking for: • Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) ⚡ • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations • Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills ⚡ • Ability to work effectively within a shift team on a critical site • Good communication and client-facing skills ⭐ Desirable: • Experience working within critical environments (e.g. banking, data centres, high-profile commercial buildings) • HV/LV knowledge or switching experience 🕒 Shift Pattern: • 4 days on, 6 days off • 4 nights on, 4 days off • 3 days on, 3 nights on, 4 days off ⏰ Shift Times: • Days: 07:00 – 19:00 • Nights: 19:00 – 07:00 • Average 42 hours per week (1-hour unpaid break per shift) 💼 What’s on offer: 💷 Up to £45,000 basic salary + £3,140 shift allowance ⏱️ Overtime opportunities 🏦 Company pension 🌴 Holiday allowance 📚 Ongoing training and development 📈 Genuine career progression within a leading FM organisation 🏢 Opportunity to work on a flagship, high-profile London contract 🚀 If you’re a skilled Electrical Technician ⚡ looking to develop your career within a critical and fast-paced environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading facilities management business
