A premier US law firm in the city is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support the London team on an 18 month – FTC. The human resources function at the firm oversees the operational aspects of payroll, employee benefits and the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

HR Advisor – What you’ll be doing:


  • Manage parental leave processes, including maternity, shared parental and paternity leave.
  • Manage long-term absence and occupational health cases.
  • Oversee immigration matters, including visa applications, renewals and tracking.
  • Assist with arrangements for short-term assignments to and from other offices and client secondments
  • Manage flexible working requests.
  • Support on HRIS (Workday) projects, initiatives, and programmes for London.
  • Provide support on employee relations matters.
  • Carry out employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Draft HR correspondence and letters as required.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports when required.
  • Support cyclical HR activities and provide ad-hoc assistance to the Director of Administration and Head of HR, if required.


HR Advisor- What we are looking for :

  • Previous experience in a law firm environment.
  • Knowledge of UK immigration matters, including sponsorship.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Strong IT skills: Workday experience is advantageous.
  • Highly organised, responsive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. xwzovoh
