Part-Qualified Group Accountant FTC

This role is for a Part-Qualified Group Accountant, based in Castleford. You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the company's financial operations during a 3-6 month fixed-term contract. Client Details This role is with a company operating in the transport and distribution industry, located in Castleford. Description Assist in the preparation of group financial statements and management accounts. Support month-end and year-end reporting processes. Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making. Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial data is maintained. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Support ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requirements. Help maintain the integrity of financial systems and processes.Profile A successful Part-Qualified Group Accountant should have: Part-qualification in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Experience in financial reporting and analysis. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
