Senior Employment Lawyer | Digital Bank

A well-known and fast-growing digital bank is looking to appoint a senior employment lawyer to support the business on all contentious and non-contentious employment matters, reporting directly to the Group Head of Employment Legal.This is a high-visibility role with significant influence across the group, including line management of an employment lawyer within the team.What's involved:Advising the People team and wider business on all aspects of employment law, including SMCR and FCA Code of Conduct issuesManaging legal support across the full employee lifecycle — hiring, executive service agreements, dismissals, grievances, disciplinaries and settlement agreementsSupporting the corporate and commercial legal functions on TUPE mattersAdvising on regulatory issues associated with financial services and bankingManaging international employment projects across EMEA and globally, working with external counselAdvising the Reward team on compensation arrangements, including malus, clawback and deferred compensationDelivering employment law training across the business.About you:Excellent legal training with 6–10 years' PQE gained at a law firm and/or in-houseVery strong technical employment law experienceExperience within financial servicesExperience handling regulatory issues in the context of SMCR, conduct, remuneration matters and regulatory inquiriesComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
