Job title: Brake Press Operative Job type: Temporary (2-week holiday cover) Location: Stevenage Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-4.30pm & Friday, 7.30am-1.30pm Hourly rate: £16.00-20.00 per hour (DOE) Start date: Monday 8th June   Our well-known client based in Stevenage are currently looking for a talented Sheet Metal / Brake-Press Operative to help their Production team to cover a 2-week Temporary holiday cover. The successful candidate must be available immediately, and have solid experience operating Brake Press machines, with strong knowledge of the Sheet Metal industry   Main duties as a Brake Press Operative: - Operate their Amada Brake Press machine (Amada HFBO 10030) - Conduct quality inspection across all finalised production - Manual handling duties (heavy lifting of materials) - Other ad-hoc Sheet Metal support/duties   What's needed for this role: - Previous experience within Brake-Press machine operations (Amada ideally) - String knowledge of the Sheet Metal industry & different materials - MUST be available immediately (Monday 8th June start date) - Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads/work on your feet for prolonged periods of time   Perks of working on a Temporary basis: - 24/7 support - Weekly pay - Tax relief on travel - Rewards & discounts   Please apply within
