In this position, you will own your portfolio and manage your deadlines independently. This means you are responsible for delivering accurate work on time without needing reminders or last-minute rushes. The role demands discipline, proactivity, and a commitment to high standards. You will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including buit not limited to:- * Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts * Management accounts * VAT returns * Self-assessment tax returns * Corporation tax returns * Payroll oversight * Deliver client work accurately and on time * Own your deadlines, making them visible * Produce files that are review-ready and require minimal rework * Communicate clearly and confidently with clients * Ensure workflow moves smoothly without bottlenecks or inactivity Each piece of work must comply with FRS 102, FRS 105, HMRC standards and Companies House deadlines. Accuracy and thorough cross-referencing are essential. This role suits someone who takes pride in being reliable, proactive, and commercially aware. You will build strong client relationships by responding to queries within one business day and communicating professionally and clearly.
