Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer job opportunity for a leading materials manufacturer based in the West Yorkshire area. Location: East Yorkshire area Duration: Permanent Salary: up to £42k (depending on your skills and experience) You will be involved in: * Maintaining and repairing plant machinery and facility equipment. * Ensuring efficient operation of machinery and looking at planned preventative maintenance (PPM - scheduling). * Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). * Ensuring electrical compliance along with manufacturing, HSE and environmental compliance (ISO9001/45001/14001). * Where required, work with external contractors on upgrades and modifications. What do you need to be considered? You will need: * Strong background in Mechanical and Electrical engineering from a manufacturing environment. * Qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering. * Knowledge of PPM and OEE and continuous improvement. * Experience of working in ISO9001/14001/45001 compliant environments. * Excellent communication and problem solving skills Interested?
