Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an industry leading main contractor on an exciting and confidential and groundbreaking £10m project in the automotive sector. If you are an ambitious professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence, we encourage you to apply. * Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for the project. * Work collaboratively with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure the accurate preparation of valuations, cost reports, and final accounts. * Conduct site visits to track progress and assess project cost implications. * Support the procurement process, including preparing tender documentation and assessing bids. * Measure and value work completed on-site to inform interim payment applications and variations. * Assist in managing risks and opportunities related to project costs. * Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations while maintaining confidentiality under the NDA. * Maintain accurate project records and comprehensive cost documentation. Qualifications * Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role, with prior exposure to projects in the automotive or construction sectors considered an advantage. * Ability to work within the confines of strict confidentiality agreements (NDA). * A relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
