About the role
ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER GAIA We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at GAIA in London . This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury dining environment and is committed to supporting exceptional guest experiences while motivating and developing a high-performing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house team, maintaining exceptional service standards throughout each shift.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor, supporting the team and ensuring guests receive an outstanding dining experience.
Ensure all service, presentation, and grooming standards are maintained in line with the GAIA brand.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and the ongoing development of team members.
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring effective resolution and guest satisfaction.
Monitor restaurant presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards to maintain a luxury dining environment.
Support rota planning, staffing levels, and labour cost control in line with business requirements.
Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior management to improve operational efficiency and team performance.
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, or in a similar leadership role within premium or luxury hospitality.
A positive, charismatic, and hands-on leader with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Experience within a Mayfair or similarly high-end restaurant operation.
Strong operational and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment.
Passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences and exceptional service.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development abilities.
Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
A strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations.

Salary: £55,300 per annum + tips
